Agents have power. Boundaries make it safe.
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all content submitted to, generated by, or stored in the S0 platform: user prompts and instructions, agent outputs (text, code, plans, and tool actions), files and materials uploaded to the Service, and applications built on the platform. Every user, team member, and developer using SyncZero must comply with it. This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
Prohibited Content
You must not use the Service to generate, store, or distribute any of the following six categories of content:
- Pornographic or NSFW content.
- Violent or gory content.
- Hate speech.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
- Deepfakes or impersonation of real persons, including AI-synthesized audio, video, or images intended to mislead viewers about origin or authenticity.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Zero Tolerance
The following are acted on immediately upon discovery, and we reserve the right to report to competent authorities:
- Child sexual exploitation content or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content that promotes or assists terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
- Instructions for producing weapons of mass destruction.
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals.
Prohibited Behaviors
- Generating or spreading misinformation, or presenting AI output as human-authored professional work (for example, as advice from a licensed doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor) where it could cause harm.
- Impersonating real people, brands, or institutions, or infringing personality, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Using prompts designed to bypass safety mechanisms (jailbreaking), or probing the Service for vulnerabilities without authorization.
- Using inputs, outputs, model responses, or derived data to train, fine-tune, benchmark, distill, or otherwise develop a competing AI or machine-learning model.
- Scraping, extracting, or harvesting model outputs at scale beyond your authorized use.
- Generating spam, phishing content, malware, or fraud material in bulk.
- Attempting to exceed plan limits, resell access, or share accounts in violation of the Terms.
Review and Moderation
We may review content and usage where we have reason to believe this AUP has been violated — including content flagged by automated safeguards, reports from users, or patterns of abuse. Where we deploy automated screening, it evaluates both inputs and outputs before or after generation.
Reviews of flagged content and user reports are handled by the team. Access to Customer Data for review follows the permission and audit model described on the Data Sovereignty page: reviews are limited in scope, logged, and traceable.
Reporting
Report content or behavior that violates this AUP — including child safety or terrorism-related content, or AI impersonation infringing your rights — to [email protected].
Every report receives an automated acknowledgment. Reporter identity is kept confidential. Reports are reviewed independently and objectively; malicious or false reports are recorded and may themselves be acted on.
Initial response within 2 hours; action completed within 24 hours.
Initial response within 24 hours; action completed within 3 business days.
Initial response within 3 business days; action completed within 7 business days.
Enforcement
Written notice requiring removal or correction. First minor violation.
Removing violating content. Confirmed violations.
Reducing concurrency slots, Fuel limits, or feature access. Repeated minor or single significant violations.
Temporary suspension pending review. Severe or accumulated violations.
Permanent loss of access. Zero-tolerance violations or repeated severe violations.
Report to law enforcement and cooperation with investigations. Suspected illegal conduct.
Enforcement decisions consider severity, intent, and history. We act proportionately and document the basis for each action.
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, you may appeal within 14 days of the notice by emailing [email protected]. Appeals are reviewed within 10 business days by someone not involved in the original decision.
Changes and Contact
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes are announced at least 15 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
